Let me introduce myself.

​

I’m Alexa—typically Lex or Lexa, depending on who you ask. I was born and raised in Idaho and am fortunate enough to currently call McCall, Idaho, home.

​

I’m an outdoor adventure photographer, with a lifestyle that keeps me outside year-round. I spend my winters working ski patrol and my summers providing medical support on wildland fires.

​

My photography journey began over a decade ago when I took my first high school photography class. Since then, the camera has pretty much followed me everywhere allowing photography to become an integral part of how I experience the outdoors. My work has led me all over the world, and given me the ability to work in remote locations, photographing for local outdoor magazines, guiding companies, and organizations and people with a passion for the outdoors.

My goal behind the lens has always been to document the fun, following the people and places that make us feel alive. My photography consists of life and landscapes that inspire, forming galleries that showcase a world of possibilities beginning at home and extending beyond. In capturing the natural playgrounds and the friends we play with, my hope is always to inspire others to get outside, create fun, and preserve the spaces in which we play.
